You are the will of God

You are the will of God

Where does life come from?   Where does it go? Where have I come from, where will I go? What am I doing here? What am I?  Who am I?  How am I?

Nature, God, Allah, Yahweh, Christ, Tao, Spirit, whatever we may call the origin of being, these words say there is a life we experience, and we are all trying to understand and experience the source of our life more fully.

As we study life we see and learn that life rises and falls like waves.  Where there was not life, there life arises.  Where life has risen, it recedes.

Seasons come and go, along with countless life forms.  Now here, now not here.

Bringing our awareness to the moment we occupy allows us to experience our own perceiving and interpreting.  All of us take in and interpret experience.  This is our nature.

Our ability to make these momentous interpretations is a deep and wonderful mystery.  We can’t untangle and explain it, though we can witness and appreciate it.  Our individual absorption and responsive sharing of what we’ve absorbed is a part of the creative process.

Like a flower absorbing sunshine that turns into a seed within the flower, we transform energy from perception to declaration.  We perceive, then we believe.  And what we choose to believe, becomes.   It becomes our experience and the experience of others we may or may not see.

The peach tree may not know what happens to its fruit, though it experiences making and letting it go.

All our lives we absorb the world, make beliefs, and share the fruit of our thoughts and feelings.  In this way we mirror the creativity of all life.  In this way we share the will to create which becomes all life.  In perceiving and believing and acting, we are extensions of the will of the Source of all life.
